Robert Privette was on track for his plan of becoming a heart surgeon when the research project with which he was working decided they needed a website. As he took on the task, his artistic and organizational skills were challenged and his creative side was stirred. This freshly-ignited love of design led to a drastic shift in career path. Even before graduating, Robert invited several of his talented fellow students to join him in founding Footstone Design. For well over a decade since then, Footstone has been committed to providing clients with the absolute finest in web and print design. Online, they dexterously merge bleeding-edge technologies with inviting user environments. In print, they deftly infuse texture and life into flat paper. They have served clients from rural Alabama to urban LA. In all cases, their work has been enduring and exemplary.

In 2007, Robert's brother, Paul, and his wife, Kristin, joined the Footstone family. Paul created an entirely new branch of Footstone - Photography. His creative vision and technical excellence have made him a highly-sought photographer. We are incredibly fortunate to be able to offer his skills as an in-house resource for our design clients. Kristin brings a wealth of experience in print design and works in the production of albums, portrait montages, commercial products and other design projects. Recently, Footstone opened a new studio in the Haile Plantation Village in Gainesville, FL. The tree-covered streets of this little community are lined with charming cafés, boutiques and parks. It is a great backdrop for the creative work of the studio. Often client meetings take place over coffee at a table outside the nearby Village Market. We'd love to have you come visit us.
